The 2019 Riese Muller Cruiser is one of our premium grade e-bikes designed for both comfort and optimal performance thanks to the industry leading Bosch motor and battery combo. The Cruiser is a perfect companion for anyone looking to curb their commute times, urban exploration, connection with nature, and to travel further than you could on your leg power alone.
The Cruiser comes standard with the lightweight yet powerful Bosch Active Line Plus mid-drive system. With 50Nm of torque, there isn't many places this bike can't take you. Working in tandem with the Vario drivetrain, the Performance CX runs super smooth and incredibly quiet given it's enormous potential to propel you up to 32km/h (20mph) and assist you up the steepest incline without a sweat. Coupled with the Bosch PowerPack 500Wh battery, the bike is capable of achieving over 120km (75miles) of pedal assistance on a full charge and in ideal riding conditions. The Intuvia display will provide all the pertinent information regarding your current trip including speed, assist level, time, shift up indication, and an intelligent remaining distance calculator to name a few. If directions are your thing, there is also the optional COBI display upgrade for GPS information, cadence, integration with wearable tech, and also the ability to control your music via the handlebar mounted thumb controller.
Riese and Muller have outfitted the Cruiser with all the essentials for a study and comfortable ride. Schwalbe Big Ben tires provide enough volume and traction to give you plenty comfort and stopping surface area. Between the front suspension fork, suspension seatpost, and plush saddle, you won't be feeling much of the bumps and pot-holes you're likely to encounter in and around the city. The swept back handlebars encourage a laid-back riding posture to maximize the pleasure of riding the Cruiser. The Enviolo continuous hub drive is a true delight for keeping things simple and intuitive. A quick twist of the grip shifter will adjust the tension in the pedals to provide perfect cadence regardless of speed or grades of elevation. To make sure you can bring all that momentum to bear, the Magura HS22 hydraulic rim brakes are sure to get the job done quick at the light squeeze of the brake lever. The Cruiser does come standard with all the essential commuter components including front and rear fenders and lights, rear carrier, kickstand, frame lock, and an optional front carrier for greater cargo capacity.
