RETURNS POLICY

We accept refunds and exchanges*.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original unopened packaging.

*Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Helmets, batteries, battery chargers, brake components, bicycle computers, GPS units, software, controllers, electronics, power assisted bicycles (electric bicycles and electric scooters), and gift cards cannot be returned.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase along with a completed RMA form available by contacting us directly at sales@scooteretti.com.  We will not accept any returns that do not include a pre-authorized RMA form from Scooteretti.

Please ensure that all information is completed on the supplied RMA form provided to you and a brief description of why the item is being returned in the box along with the RMA form.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If an item is returned and is not accepted based on the conditions above, return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the original purchaser and will be shipped back COD at their expense.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment less any shipping, brokerage and duties (if applicable).


Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@scooteretti.com.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded and are considered to be a "FINAL SALE".

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@scooteretti.com.
 
Return Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Original shipping costs (shipping, brokerage, duties etc...) are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Items that contain lithium ion batteries are classified as Dangerous Goods. There are strict International regulations that govern the safe handling of lithium Ion batteries. Shippers MUST be properly trained and certified to ship these items. Not all carriers accept lithium ion battery shipments. DO NOT attempt to ship lithium ion batteries without proper labeling and training. Significant fines and criminal charges may be placed against the shipper. Scooteretti MUST report all infractions and will not accpet any returns of lithium ion batteries.

If the item is defective a pre-paid return shipping label will be emailed to you upon authorization.

Cancellations

Orders that are cancelled prior to shipping will incur a 15% restocking / administration fee.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

All return items must be sent back insured and prepaid. We cannot accept CODs.

2 - Free Shipping: Canceling and returning items that are approved for a return by Scooteretti will affect your order's eligibility for Free Shipping.

US Shipping and Delivery 

Orders with US shipping addresses are shipped via Ground or Air depending on the method selected at checkout. Below are estimated shipping times.

It is the purchasers responsibility to ensure that any and all products purchased can be imported into the United States of America.
3 - Products that include "Free Shipping" are for the actual costs of shipping only and do not include any items listed on line 2 above and are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Shipping to an International Address (outside Canada and the U.S.)

It is the purchasers responsibility to ensure that any and all products purchased can be imported into the destination country.
3 - Products that include "Free Shipping" are for the actual costs of shipping only and do not include any items listed on line 2 above and are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Defects and Damages

You must inspect thoroughly your items received at the time of delivery. Be sure to report any product defects or damages with the delivery shipping agent immediately. Damages or defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. A technician or inspector may require a visit to your home to assess the problem and attempt to solve it. Do not discard any packaging materials and it is highly recommended to take pictures of any damage caused by shipping. In this case, the legal or manufacturer’s warranty will apply, as appropriate, and not this Return Policy.
